Bayshore Single Stream Solutions (BS3) operates a Class A recycling facility for the acceptance and processing of curbside commodities. The facility is approved to accept all both commingled and single-stream curbside material including: aluminum, steel and tin cans, glass bottles and jars, #1 – #7 plastics, newspaper, corrugated cardboard, textiles, and mixed paper (magazines, office paper, junk mail).  Our state of the art automated processing plant makes the means of recycling simple for residents throughout Middlesex County and New Jersey.

Approved Materials for Curbside Recycling

It is important to know which items are recyclable materials and which belong in the garbage. The following items should be placed curbside for collection:

 

  • Aluminum cans, steel cans and tin cans
  • Glass bottles and glass jars
  • Plastics labeled #1-#7
  • Milk jugs, water bottles, soda bottles, laundry detergent bottles, plastic containers, juice bottles, yogurt tubs, and more
  • Newspaper and mixed paper (magazines, office paper, junk mail)
