Montecalvo Material Recovery Facility (MMRF) works in conjunction with MDS’s dumpster services. This Solid Waste Transfer Station’s state-of-the-art facility opened in April of 2010 and accepts mixed construction and demolition debris – Type 13, bulky waste; Type 13C, construction and demolition debris and Type-27, dry industrial waste. Through a combination of mechanized material recovery, with meticulous up front removal before processing of any materials of concern (such as creosote or copper chromate arsenate lumber, PVC plastics, wallboard), MMRF, on average, recovers 75 to 80 percent of this material for recycling.
Our services dealing with dumpsters from NJ will ensure that any type of construction debris, among other materials, will be removed and transported to our facilities to be recycled in a fashion that will help to preserve the environment.
Paper, mixed plastic, cardboard, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, aggregate materials and different grades of wood are recovery, recycle and otherwise re-purposed. Clean dimensional lumber is sized and marketed for landscape mulch. The adulterated wood is blended with the small fraction of paper, cardboard and plastics to manufacture an engineered bio-fuel, which is used at industrial facilities as a fuel source.
MMRF offers LEED waste management recycling and tracking programs and waste audits. Utilization of the (dumpster) recycling services offered by Montecalvo Disposal and Material Recovery Facility quality for LEED credits under the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). MMRF also accepts consumer electronic waste as a licensed Large Quantity Handler. Acceptable electronics include: Computers, monitors, scanners, modems, printers, cables, keyboards, televisions and telephones.
