Thermal Treatment of Petroleum Contaminated Soils

Our soil management in NJ, LLC (BSM) provides thermal treatment of petroleum contaminated soils by a process called “low-temperature thermal desorption (LTTD).” This thermal treatment process decontaminates non-hazardous ID-27 soils contaminated with gasoline, kerosene, jet fuel, #1-#6 fuel oils, used oils, coal tars and Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAH’s).

Bayshore Soil Management's state-of-the-art technology remediates the impacted material by permanently destroying hydrocarbons and other organic contaminates in the soil matrix. The thermal treatment does not compromise the geotechnical characteristics of the soil. The treated soil is structurally sound and perfect for mixing and blending with other recycled materials for beneficial reuse. This material has low moisture and 0% organic content and can be adjusted to meet clients’ specific engineering requirements.

BSM is located in Bayshore Recycling Corp’s Eco-Complex & Energy Campus in the Keasbey section of Woodbridge, New Jersey.
